UMD Pro / UMD SE - What happened to Dashboard Downlink-Uplink Real-Time Usage?
I read about https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm but needing to do that and having to have another webpage up to see the kind of information I want ( not even sure if this is "real-time" ) is not a great solution.

View client bandwidth use in real time
You can view the DPI stats in the controller which no one has ever trusted. You can also use some 3rd party tools like iftop of ntopng to track bandwidth use. Full disclosure, I ported ntopng to the UDM: https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm

Big Chunk of Traffic Not Being Inspected by DPI - Help!
If you want something much better, do yourself a favour and install ntopng on your UDM. It records much more information than DPI like time-series data, supports IPv6, and is much more accurate at classifying traffic. You can read all the features ntop supports here.

Should I migrate to Ubiquiti or not?
You should look into setting up Ntopng. Wayyyy better monitoring and can track individual usage by IP, devices, etc. You set it up directly on the UDM or UDMP so no additional hardware. I haven’t noticed any performance delays on it either. The link is below. Feel free to shoot me questions if you got any. https://github.com/tusc/ntopng-udm

Can you set dns for second up addresses
Turns out on the UDM line, if you can't manage it in the UI, then you can't mange it (no support for config.gateway.json). In this case I'm pretty sure you're out of luck in the UI. There are some scripts out there you can find to do this, but the records may not survive reboots and/or firmware upgrades. https://github.com/evaneaston/udm-host-records

Files not visible through ssh
Hi Everyone, first time post here. I have searched and searched but I am just at a loss. Maybe I am just a noob (most likely) but I am adding some scripts to my UDM to get around not having static DNS entries as an option. Walkthrough and scripts here... https://github.com/evaneaston/udm-host-records

UDM pro DN / Domain name - how to set it???
If you don't want to use a reverse proxy server, then you can also do it by adding the host records to the DNS server on the UDM (can't do it through GUI, have to do it in SSH). You can use the udm-host-records to do that, or just modify the dnsmasq files manually if you're familiar with dnsmasq and Linux. I would say this isn't as elegant of a solution as the reverse proxy.
