If you still have your original license key email, registration works fine if you roll back your computer's clock to the day after you bought your license.
Windows: If you trust random DLLs from the internet, supposedly putting these files in the Nova folder will let you run it without a full Quicktime installation: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KhvxgI4dEi1CBV8SbLeFQkaaZT...

How to get EV Nova to work on OSX 10.14
I'm an old EV fan. Trying to get it to work for the first time in 25 or so years. I've tried "EV Nova 1.1.1 [MacOS]", (registration screen opens, but then it turns black and crashes when I go to "Trial"). And I've tried the "novafix" (below), which seems to corrupt the game and, after installing, it crashes before it even opens. (https://github.com/RyuKojiro/novafix)

Omega is still my favorite. You might have to emulate it, but Boss might be something you might enjoy. I'll see if I can still find it...
