Is this still true? I want to use Noto [Color] Emoji for font.name-list.emoji in about:config.
If file size is a concern and you intend to use Noto Color Emoji strictly only in Firefox, you may try the Noto-COLRv1-emojicompat.ttf from https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-emoji/tree/main/fonts (5MB).

Is there any way to replace Windows 11 emojis with iOS?
It’s probably easier to just use the Noto Emojis instead of trying to convert the format Apple uses to something Windows can understand.

Noto Sans Color Emoji Font
I am looking for a Noto Sans font containing all the color emojis. I want to use it for the user interface because Whatsapp/Signal notifications are full with non printable emoji characters with the default Noto Sans font. I found https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-emoji but for some reason the spaces are way too wide so it is not usable. Is there any other good font which can be used for the user interface and contains all (or most) color emojis?

What do you guys think of the new "We <3 NYC" design?
IMO they should have leaned more heavily into the "modern emoji" side of this, think the new Fluent UI emojis from Microsoft, and gone for a font more resembling a typical system font for phones. Then at least it would feel relevant. Sure, it wouldn't be timeless, but neither is whatever they have now.
