node-sonos-http-api VS homebridge-securitysystem

Title. I'm trying to write a program right now to sync speaker audio with other devices, and I came across the Sonos HTTP API: https://github.com/jishi/node-sonos-http-api

This works quite well as a system that I've tested a few times. When the system triggers, all lights come on full brightness in every room as well as garden and garage and our Sonos system plays an alarm sound on full volume from every room using the http api. Because the speakers in the garage would play too, this would alert our neighbours if we were ever away.

I am running the Sonos API container on docker. It allows to play sound file or you can send a text for text-to-speech announcements. You can specify on which Sonos to play and the volume. Details: https://github.com/jishi/node-sonos-http-api

This code allows you to control a Sonos speaker system with the help of the Node Sonos HTTP API

Not sure if you mean that, but the Sonos S1 interface has been reverse-engineered, see here:

Hello, I am making a simple web app for personal use and I am using this api. I want to be able to play stations, but it doesn't seem to have that functionality.

So, I have a security system setup through homebridge. Every night, when the system is armed, there are a number of sensors that could trigger this (all natively setup through HomeKit):

I use https://github.com/MiguelRipoll23/homebridge-securitysystem with bell unit connected with a HUE plug. Simple but works.

And then if you can't find a HomeKit compatible security system that you like, mash them all together into one using the Homebridge Security System plugin - https://github.com/MiguelRipoll23/homebridge-securitysystem

The plugin documentation from Homebridge looks not very extensive. I understand it should be an Accessory plugin. However, looking at similar plugins, in the end the code looks quite extensive https://github.com/MiguelRipoll23/homebridge-securitysystem. I am quite familiar with javascript code, though mostly from web development.
