Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Some time ago I have in fact written a small utility based on fzf that solves this problem by letting you comment aliases in your shell config file and fuzzy-search through them:

How to have column view like macOS finder ?
This feature is rarely seen in Linux file managers. I would recommend the CLI file manager ranger. If you need a GUI tool, you should have a look at pantheon files, the file manager of ElementaryOS.
