Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

The issue with moderation is that not everyone agrees. Moderation should be plug-in and multilayer. Everyone should be able to choose which moderation they trust or distrust.
Full p2p is technically complicated and does not work well for small devices not always connected, we should keep servers to host the discussions.
The servers should be able to subscribe to a moderation. You don't want to host a discussion illegal in your country gor example. Users should also be able to move servers painlessly. If the users trust their servers with their identity, it does not need to use crypto for user identity. On your profile page on a server you can link other servers identity and that's enough and simpler.
If a discussion group is private, it should only be hosted in servers of their members and not elsewhere.
I started working on such a system https://github.com/mildred/nimnews but beyond the technical stuff I have no idea how this could gain adoption.

How can I add graphics to my nim program?
If the video example does not work, you can use the examples projects in the nim SDL repository. When ex101_init.nim works, there is no reason the video example does not work. If you have further issues, do not hesitate to share a minimal working example with your detailed configuration (Nim compiler version, command line you used, file directory, libraries installed) on the forum.nim-lang.org

Some forum software written in Rust
Obviously forums aren't as popular as they used to be, so this topic might not be of interest to many. For folks that want to run a forum, they'd most certainly go with Discourse (Ruby), Flarum (PHP), Xenforo (PHP), NodeBB (Javascript), Nimforum (Nim) and maybe Casnode (Go)

How the SQLite Virtual Machine Works
"embedded" can mean a few different things so that's a bit confusing for me, but if the intent was "show me places sqlite is used as a database backend for user-facing web software", the Nim forum (https://github.com/nim-lang/nimforum) uses sqlite as its database backend.
