Is there anywhere I can find the standard deviation of points and yards for each team in each game?
It's been superseded by nflfastR at least for the play by play stuff. You can also download the data directly, rather than using the scraping functions. https://github.com/nflverse/nfldata

Metric for how many different receivers quarterbacks utilize?
nflfastR is a database with play by play data going back to 1999, it has everything you'd need to create such a metric, but you gotta write the query yourself :)

typeCreate: programmatically create and retrieve typeforms and their responses in R
There already exists rtypeform, but the last commit is 2 years old, and there is no functionality for actually building forms which was the motivation for creating this package. Additionally, the results retrieval is somewhat incomplete and requires manual manipulation of result sets to get a tabular output. While a work in progress, typeCreate takes a form id and returns a table much like what you would expect from a google form or other simpler interface ready for analysis.
