Good option to nextcloud?
I've been using nextcloud for a couple of years now, and I must say it wasn't great. In my experience is heavy, slow, clunky, and worst of all: buggy, unstable, and quite temperamental. Just today I found out that yet another weird behaviour I was experiencing is actually an almost 3yo bug https://github.com/nextcloud/viewer/issues/484 that is honestly pretty hard to justify it happened at all. I mean for a SW who's goal is to host files, confusing files with the same name in different directories isn't the best look. Videochat etc is neat, but if the SW fails its primary task (storing files) all the bells and whistles in the world don't make up for a years old bug.

PACS for small, non-radiology practice
Another open source option, but stable because itβs so actively developed: nextcloud. Its dicom viewer seems good, but Iβm no expert in this. I have downloaded it and viewed imaging with it. One click install. Here it is on GitHub: https://github.com/ayselafsar/dicomviewer. News pieces: https://openhealthnews.com/tagged/dicom-viewer-app-nextcloud https://www.techrepublic.com/google-amp/article/how-to-add-dicom-image-viewing-to-nextcloud-hub/ Let me know if you have any questions.
