neovim-ayu VS vscode.nvim

I use ayu-mirage - really like it.

Recently I decided to switch from LunarVim to NeoVim and write my own config because I found out that I had no clue how any of lvim's configs worked and couldn't change much. I've installed the neovim-ayu colorscheme which I'm really enjoying so far but I noticed that I'm having a hard time seeing the borders between the window splits. I found out how to override the VertSplit color fairly quickly. What I'm having trouble with are the horizontal splits. From what I can see the vertical splits use some utf-8 characters to draw the lines while the horizontal splits only use the background color of the line.

ayu-mirage

I'm trying to use https://github.com/Shatur/neovim-ayu in my neovim config but I'm not able to get it to look the same. I'm not able to get the functions and parameters to take on unique colors. I've tried to read:h highlight-groups but I'm not getting anywhere!

Lastly, I know neovim-ayu exists, but I prefer how ayu-vim colors things with treesitter.

I'm not a fan of the pastel/low contrast style most of the themes have these days. My theme of choice is Ayu (dark) (https://github.com/Shatur/neovim-ayu). Absolutely gorgeous.

Mofiqul/vscode.nvim

I used vscode theme https://github.com/Mofiqul/vscode.nvim for both. But there is a similar problem for other themes (e.g. tokyo night).

Pretty cool. Currently I am using vscode.nvim though I have been toying with creating a Catppuccin theme with it (since alot of things respect the Catppuccin engine)

Close, I am using the vscode colorscheme, and when I activate the setup, it turns the entire statusbar transparent, not just the background, leaving it essentially just black and white, and I am just looking to have the background transparent, nothing else. https://github.com/Mofiqul/vscode.nvim

There is a theme specifically for neovim to look exactly like VS Code. Config in lua. It's also compatible with some other plugins to keep one theme on all of them. https://github.com/Mofiqul/vscode.nvim

Indeed I have added this code to the theme.lua file inside this https://github.com/Mofiqul/vscode.nvim repo, I won't send a github repo with my configs because I don't use and I don't wanna use this theme, I was just trying to help people who are trying to use it with C# and learn something from it, I myself use the gruvbox theme.
