NEAT AI not learning as expected
Could you not create a XOR or other algebraic test ? If you can train it to these simple functions, then the algorithm (your code) works https://github.com/CodeReclaimers/neat-python/blob/master/tests/test_xor_example.py.

Bug or intentional: neat-python implementation vs the original NEAT paper
I've been working on my own NEAT implementation to better understand the algorithm and I noticed a difference in implementation between what the paper lays out and the neat-python implementation found here.
