Developers: How to start working on custom window decorations?
Hi there! I really love the hello theme. It adds very elegant MacOS style buttons and has various customization options, one of which is setting the titlebar color per application.
-
What is this window decoration?
I'll probably not fork after all it as it seems to fit my needs if hello does not.
-
Do you have a theme suggestion?
It's discontinued sadly, but I love the Hello theme; I actually just use the plasma theme and the window decoration.

I installed a window decoration to make the window edges smoother and more rounded, if you look closely you can see the borders of the screen, I tried playing with the compositor in the settings and the only option that looks good is XRender, but that renders animations and blur wrong. What to do?
Take a look at this project, it's currently abandoned with the last pull done about a month ago to fix some minor issues, but this theme does the corners correctly without producing the blurred corner(except on konsole, since it does blur a bit independently) revising this could we should be able to find the way to properly implement proper blurring with rounded corners. Edit: forgot link ... https://github.com/n4n0GH/hello

Klassy v4.3 customizable window decoration and application style released for Plasma 5.27
There is a fork of LightlyShaders at https://github.com/a-parhom/LightlyShaders which sort of works on Wayland from git master but not as well as it used to on previous KWin versions.
-
Manually block auto suspend and screen locking from commandline or a keyboard shortcut

This is the best fork I think https://github.com/a-parhom/LightlyShaders
- KDE Plasma Breeze: ROUNDED CORNERS and OUTLINES!

How to get rounded corners here? Is it depends on the plasma theme?
Well there are things like https://github.com/a-parhom/LightlyShaders which come close.

Is it impossible to change the border radius of a window?
I use this Desktop Effect (Lightlyshader) for my rounded corners, the only problem is, it does not play nice with many other Desktop effects(Wobbly, Magic Lamp, etc), so test it and see what break or doesn't.

How to configure KWin for rounded corners?
You may want to give LightlyShaders KWin effect a try and see how it compares to kde-rounded-corners effect.

Did Lightylshaders break in 5.25 ?
I was using https://github.com/a-parhom/LightlyShaders for rounded corners and it appears to have stopped working after the update. Can anyone confirm or is it just for me?
