What are your top self hosted services that you are very satisfied with ?
You might want to look into Mylar3 and/or threetwo. I've only tried Mylar3 myself, and I believe it did download a comic or two, but based on some other comments in this thread, it sounds like it's hit or miss for reliability.

Why is there so little support for setting up Mylar3?
Add the drive to fstab (some distros do this automatically) then bind the volume in the docker-compose.yml file.
