Hey You Pikachu - VRU mic emulation now possible - No original hardware required
This PR https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-core/pull/873 merged in June 2022 finally makes Hey You Pikachu playable without the original hardware. No credit on my part, I am not involved in any development, but there are some brilliant people in that thread that used the reverse engineering documents for the device from zoinkity and the documents on ultra64 to make this a reality (Thank you loganmc10, if you ever see this. Bringing back my childhood :')).

Where can I find open source C softwares needing help and also with beginner friendly tasks?
Mupen64plus (N64 emulator) is purely C: https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-core

Has anyone found a reliable way to run “Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine” on an emulator?
It works fine if you use a custom mupen64plus core with the new dynarec. The upstream version has a small regression.

Game Boy Camera Canon EF Lens Mount (2018)
On the topic of emulating old hardware, this reminds me of the Nintendo 64 VRU accessory, which is a mic + voice recognition that was used in games such as Hey You Pikachu. Nobody has emulated the hardware which performed the actual voice recognition, instead opting for modern VR libraries. So while you can use it in an emulator, the performed VR won't match what you'd get with limited hardware implementation.
>This is an HLE implementation. I did not emulate the manner in which the VRU does voice recognition

Took longer than expected, what should I play next?
What distribution of that in particular though? The official repo https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-core hasn't had a new release in 7 years.

Help finding a game.
https://simple64.github.io/ This one's a good starting point. You're on your own for finding games; emulation itself tends to be OK, but posting links to games tends not to be.

send me all trans mtf characters you know of in videogames
Would not recommend RetroArch, I’ve had bad experiences plus the guy behind it is a notorious ass. My recommendation would be Simple64.

Best Nintendo64 Emulator? j
I have been trying to play some old classics from the Nintendo 64, like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, etc. I have been struggling to find a good emulator that won't endanger my pc. There are a few contenders, one of them is project64, though due to its history, as well as the "nag screen," I am trying to find another one. Is there a workaround for this screen? The other emulator was m64p, though when I looked it up I got https://simple64.github.io/ Is this site safe? Are there any other emulators? Anything helps, thanks.
