  • simple64

    Accurate N64 Emulator

  • There are no good builds for it yet from the source, latest build on git is from a few months prior. But you can either build yourself or use Simple64 (https://github.com/simple64/simple64/releases), which incorporates the latest changes including this one. Just set P4 to the controller type "Emulated VRU', it uses a VR library so it should work with any mic.

  • mupen64plus-core

Core module of the Mupen64Plus project

  • This PR https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-core/pull/873 merged in June 2022 finally makes Hey You Pikachu playable without the original hardware. No credit on my part, I am not involved in any development, but there are some brilliant people in that thread that used the reverse engineering documents for the device from zoinkity and the documents on ultra64 to make this a reality (Thank you loganmc10, if you ever see this. Bringing back my childhood :')).
