Ansible Tower with SQL DB
So going with non postures would invalidate support today, note next version of tower will be postgresql 12, now that being said MS has been developing Azure MSSQL for Tower. https://github.com/microsoft/mssql-django

Connect vue app to Azure SQL and query data
I'm not sure about using an Azure instance specifically but I've used django-pyodbc-azure to connect to our onsite our MSSQL servers to set up a DRF API, might be worth a look.
