mousejiggler VS idle-logoff

If you can, use mousejiggler (this describes the program, its one of those 2010 thingsthat you would have to find and copy onto your machine: https://github.com/arkane-systems/mousejiggler )

Specifically, I am needing an option that does NOT require standalone installation software because I am NOT an admin on my PC and our IT has disabled all installations. I have a hard time even accessing MS App store stuff if it isn't preapproved. It is sooo frustrating! Weirdly, I was able to install one program (seen here) but I have no clue what was different about this program/installation from all all the others I tried that it didn't trigger the admin login popup. 🤷‍♀️ I know this lack of admin permissions/IT lockdown may be too big a hurdle to overcome but figured I would ask here before giving up.

Worst case some people give me some ideas and I release a public github for a program similar to Mouse Jiggler, so anyone who insists on webcams gets their corneas hurt.

I have used something similar to this.

Lithnet Idle Logoff is great for terminating idle console sessions. Very easy to deploy and configure with AD (msi installer and has admx templates). Basically, it's a small, lightweight program that runs in the background of every user session and when the session is idle for an amount of time that you define, it can logout the account or shutdown or reboot the computer. To meet the requirements for 3.1.11 you would only need to logout idle sessions, but the shutdown option could be useful if you want to automatically turn off computers after users leave for the day to save power. Also, just a good tool to have in general if you have any shared computers. Users just lock the computer and never log off, then suddenly you have 10 idle sessions and a new ticket about the computer being slow. This can just log them off automatically so you never have this problem. I don't know anything about the cards, but we use https://github.com/lithnet/idle-logoff to boot inactive logins and it works well.

Set screensaver with password required to unlock to 1 minute, use lithnet https://github.com/lithnet/idle-logoff for logoff. I implemented it on shared workstations, works like a charm and users hate it. So, successful deployment in my eyes.
