The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Question about the decimal type in C# and the IEEE 754 standard.
FWIW I think MongoDb's driver has a decimal128 type, but IIRC it only handles storage/comparisons and not necessarily math ops. But maybe it's a start?

Need to use both Azure blob and AWS S3. Should I download aws sdk or use REST APIs?
There is/was a good project for that - https://github.com/aloneguid/storage, they have interface and wrappers for Azure, S3, Filesystem (good for local dev) and in-memory (good for unit testing) and you can plug any provider you want.

Blob Storage for .NET
There is a similar library https://github.com/aloneguid/storage that also abstracts working with filesystem and some other cloud services.

Universal interface and implementation for cloud storage
What is the difference between this https://github.com/aloneguid/storage and yours?
What are some alternatives?
When comparing MongoDB and Storage.Net you can also consider the following projects:
StackExchange Redis - General purpose redis client
FluentStorage - A polycloud .NET cloud storage abstraction layer. Provides Blob storage (AWS S3, GCP, FTP, SFTP, Azure Blob/File/Event Hub/Data Lake) and Messaging (AWS SQS, Azure Queue/ServiceBus). Supports .NET 5+ and .NET Standard 2.0+. Pure C#.
Npgsql - Npgsql is the .NET data provider for PostgreSQL.
stowage - Bloat-free, no BS cloud storage SDK.
ServiceStack Redis - .NET's leading C# Redis Client
Cassandra - DataStax C# Driver for Apache Cassandra
MySQL Connector - Connector/NET is a fully-managed ADO.NET driver for MySQL.
IronLeveldb - A leveldb implementation in C#
MyCouch - MyCouch is the asynchronous CouchDB client for .NET
