June + July monthly report from v1docq47 (CCS + XMR.RU)
It was a really interesting period of work! A tremendous amount of work has been done in terms of translating all posted material on translate.getmonero.org into Russian. Now the Russian language takes the second place in terms of the number of translated lines (after English, of course), and the translation is 100% complete.

December 2021 CCS report as translation coordinator
As for January, I will push translations to getmonero.org website since we have had some progress from contributors. I'll also start looking into adding moneropedia entries to Weblate as per https://github.com/monero-ecosystem/monero-translations/issues/108. A 'call for translators' post on reddit is planned for the following days.

How to install .bz2 apps
Hey congrats on the switch! I would recommend against trying to install apps in this way. The package format you’re going to have the best time with is Flatpak. Some app developers distribute their own Flatpak apps through their own websites, but usually they submit them to a store like AppCenter or FlatHub. It looks like this app is available on FlatHub, so that’s where I’d recommend getting it from: https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.getmonero.Monero

Is the Monero GUI available on flathub official?
It should be. It is maintained directly under the flathub repository https://github.com/flathub/org.getmonero.Monero
- As of today, Monero GUI is available as a flatpak
