The Flatpak manifest that tells how to build the Flatpak is auditable as highlighted elsewhere in the forum by: https://github.com/flathub/org.getmonero.Monero/blob/master/org.getmonero.Monero.yaml

There doesn't need to be a CCS especially since the UK lexicon isn't notably different the US where cryptocurrency is concerned. People can just contribute on https://translate.getmonero.org/ if they want for minor differences

simple-monerod-docker
A simple and straightforward Dockerized monerod built from source and exposing standard ports.
I don't know if monero works on Alpine, however it works on debian:stable-slim. There is already https://github.com/sethsimmons/simple-monerod-docker but an official one mantained it's another level

I would suggest filing an issue if anyone else can confirm or if you're able to consistently replicate it: https://github.com/flathub/flathub/issues

But yes, no one has confirmed yet... if it is an issue, perhaps specific permissions can be granted using these udev rules. I just dont know anything about the powers of the .yaml file / flatpak (first time user)

Thanks for the heads up! Hopefully they can fix / address it, but upon further reading, its a known / bigger issue.. but i did find someone creating a 'trevor suite' flatpak version 2 months ago (i dont know if they got it working but im sure they would have run into the same problem.. im just unsure how to ask them)
