I made a Jenkins CLI utility to avoid the Jenkins web UI
So I made https://github.com/mmeisner/jenkins-cli which is a Python script using the Jenkins API to upload groovy script, start, stop jobs, list job, nodes, job queue, etc.

I made a Jenkins CLI utility to avoid the Jenkins web UI
Thanks for the info. When I found some prior work, I was already well down the rabbit hole and had fun with the whole process. I seem to recall I found two Python APIs and they didn't exactly fit the bill as being simple. Don't think I found api4jenkins though. Looks interesting. BTW, a few days ago I stumbled across https://github.com/gocruncher/jenkins-job-cli which looks pretty cool and seems to do pretty much the same but made a few months after my effort.
