Appimage or Flatpak? Which is better to avoid too many dependencies & also save some space.
-Flatpak can be updated [run: flatpak update] but they take more space since they download libraries and runtimes, the good thing is that if another app has the same libraries/runtimes the download is significantly smaller.
- Why this program (Metadata cleaner) from Flatpack needs that much of space? (Mint 20.1)

Why do window screenshots have such a weird shadow?
This is my application, and it’s the default libadwaita shadow. I believe the screenshot looks bad because of Flathub’s compression, this is the original file: https://gitlab.com/rmnvgr/metadata-cleaner/-/raw/main/resources/screenshots/1.png

There is no published binary of this application - the developer has chosen to release it only as a flatpak. You can also build it from source. https://gitlab.com/rmnvgr/metadata-cleaner

Metadata Cleaner v2.0.0: Major update, new UI!
I use Flatpak during development so that I don't have to install dev packages on my system and so that I can target a specific runtime. For building and packaging, I suggest you look at how various Python applications do it. For example here's my root meson.build and my Flatpak manifest.
