Moving from ReadyNAS Pro 6 to Synology DS1621+
How is the Media Server package? On the ReadyNAS, the ReadyMedia / MiniDLNA app started to choke on my files after the collection got a bit large.

DLNA internet radio controller - recommendations?
We have several DLNA streamers around the house (Pure Jongo A2s -- old but work great), a NAS running minidlna which serves music, and we use Hifi Cast on Android phones to control it -- pointing the Jongos at the NAS. This works well for locally-hosted music.
- Best way to play HDR content from linux laptop to TV?
- More private alternative to Plex for smart TV
- Start of minidlna

NAS: Music Playback Bluetooth and Browser
https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/itt0c2/need\_help\_to\_setup\_remote\_play\_directly\_on\_my/ hints at a similar option. To run another app, which acts as a DLNA client/renderer, on the ARM device then use Jellyfins "Play on" feature. Something like https://github.com/hzeller/gmrender-resurrect maybe.

[HELP] Is there any possible way to transmit all the audio from my phone to linux
If not, buy (or use other methods to obtain it, I've heard that a Release by Kirlif' exists ;) or use the trial from the app AirMusicl. Enable DLNA in the settings. Now install GMediaRender, run it from the command line, and go back to your phone. Open AirMusicl, go to the Recievers tab, select gmediarender, and press the flash on the bottom and it streams! And side note, you can configure AirMusicl to use screen casting which works without root or complete audio capturing with works with root in the settings :)

Meridian Trifield Rig
Allo-DigiOne running DietPi/GMRender on RPi3B as DLNA renderer, QNAP HS-210 SilentNAS with Minimserver2 as DLNA server, and controlled primarily by BubbleUPnP on an Android tablet. These also drive an outdoor 2.1 system from a Yamaha WXC-50 renderer in the basement.

Using Navidrome and Forked DAAP Together
Both are UPnP servers which serve music to compatible renderers. I run them with gmrender-resurrect on Raspberry Pis connected to my stereos and can control playback from my phone.

Any decent DLNA renderers for Linux?
gmrender-resurrect doesn't seem to send playback status or seeked time updates to Jellyfin, although play/pause & seek instructions work, once paused Jellyfin still thinks playback is continuing. (probably the easiest of all to fix)
