In case you change idea, there is my microG unofficial installer that automatically install microG, Play Store (optional), F-Droid Privileged Extension (optional) and some other apps (optional). At the end you can install normally the base F-Droid app and it will just work.

What is the state of Android Auto?
Running the latest los4microg on an oneplus6. Iirc i'm using the files (apk & permissions) from https://github.com/micro5k/microg-unofficial-installer. Got my car (cupra leon) 2 weeks ago and android auto ran out of the box. I have installed the playstore as well, maybe that is needed too...

You could try seeing what Google Play serves you if you're on WSA. WSA doesn't ship with Google Play by default, obviously, but it's not too difficult to integrate it. I haven't added Google Play to my PC's WSA build yet, though, which is why I tried the Android Studio emulator first.

What is the state of Android Apps on Windows 11 in May 2023?
WSA still uses the amazon app store, but you can sideload aurora store to get play store apps (or use MagiskOnWSALocal to use google play services)
