Reactive Clojure: You don't need a web framework, you need a web language

This reminds me of Meteor.js from back in the day (2014?), which had a very similar approach—you wrote code that ran on both the frontend and the backend, and database updates were propagated automatically. It suffered from a pretty hard reliance on Mongodb and its own package manager (Atmosphere), and it was at odds with the rest of the JS ecosystem which was settling on NPM.
This project looks very cool! I like the focus on composition, Meteor was lacking that (and really, most other frameworks do as well).

This optimization opens the door for us to resume the work in Tree-shaking as huge libraries are not a big problem for us in development anymore and Tree-shaking can now be enabled only for production builds.

Getting started with Node.js API
6 projects | dev.to | 2 Sep 2021
This amazing framework will help you to build a robust Node.js API. It’s important to know that there are other options to take like Sails, Meteor, Happi, among others. In this case we will use Express which is the most used one but it doesn’t limit you to use other one. You can read the whole Express documentation here

How to combine AdonisJS and SvelteKit?
3 projects | reddit.com/r/sveltejs | 26 Apr 2021
I also found that co-author of Adonis tried to use Vite in similar fashion as backend bundler. I asked him here, but I wanted to hear suggestions from Svelte community.3 projects | reddit.com/r/sveltejs | 26 Apr 2021
I am trying to connect backend framework called AdonisJS and SvelteKit (or any Svelte framework with router and SSR in general such as Routify). My goal is to have them both running on same port. On /api would live Adonis endpoints and the rest would be Svelte pages rendered on server.
Are you open to using something like Adonis? It’s a Node framework that comes with routing, validation, auth, and more. https://preview.adonisjs.com
No code database - is there one? and do you need one?

Before I wasted your time by saying something so useless as "I've never heard of such a thing," I read through the rest of the comments and saw your answers to other people's replies. You mentioned Firebase in one comment, so I just wanted to mention that I used Firebase pretty extensively in some project-based courses and there was plenty of coding involved in getting the data out of Firebase and doing stuff with it. In these projects, there was quite a bit of set up with Node and node packages and Express.js, which might be the sort of thing you're thinking about when you mention a js library, but I think they're calling Express.js a framework. People are already saying it's time to ditch Express for newer ones like Koa and Fastify. A lot of people are really loving Adonis. Here's the site so you can get an idea of what it looks like: https://preview.adonisjs.com/

Give AdonisJS a try. The developer experience is a lot like Laravel, but slightly rougher around the edges. You should give Adonis 5.0 a try if you want support for TypeScript. It's still in "alpha" but I think it's stable enough. I think they're just waiting for feature parity to move it to "beta".

After working with some of the more mature MVC frameworks like Laravel and Phoenix, I was excited to see AdonisJS hit 5.0 and fully support TypeScript.
