With all the doomscrolling around here. Here comes something that excites me: The shadow fork / merge of the mainnet will happen today at around 2 pm UTC. This is done to test all the node implementations for their merge readiness. The one last week was quite a success with no major issues (as far as I know). Daily Goerli: A whole lot more detail on the lighthouse db corruption issue I posted about previously. There's a warning that's been quite frequent on my erigon nodes for a while that doesn't seem to have any impact on its performance. I asked if it should be downgraded to INFO here.
