The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Announcing the Keyword Generics Initiative
I have wanted async generics myself for some time now. In RSpotify, we have both async and blocking users, so we had to resort to maybe_async to switch between them. However, this macro has a few caveats and isn't as convenient as having it built-in.

marginally faster and more intuitive alternative to quote (prototype)
This is great! I actually asked about adding this to the proc-quote (proc macro based alternative to quote) crate and they weren't interested: https://github.com/Goncalerta/proc-quote/issues/23
What are some alternatives?
When comparing maybe-async-rs and proc-quote you can also consider the following projects:
Bytecode - A Rust proc-macro crate which derives functions to compile and parse back enums and structs to and from a bytecode representation
utility-rs - Try impl TypeScript's utility types in rust via proc_macro
rspotify - Spotify Web API SDK implemented on Rust
darling - A Rust proc-macro attribute parser
todo_by - Compile-time lifetimes for comments.
proc-bitfield - A Rust crate to expressively declare bitfield-like structs
