Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Thank you for the compliment! You're clearly the resident expert in this area! I do think bidirectional syncing would be very cool but personally I'm happy with managing my cards completely in markdown. Unless other people really want that feature it sounds like it would be a lot of work and there might be more interesting or exciting features you could implement as an alternative. How do you manage mapping from markdown to anki currently? I use a hash of the deck title and the question text. Obviously this means you lose progress on a card if you change the question or the deck title. Wondering if you have a better solution.
