No working sound for Kabylake, even with headphones connected by USB?
I have an ASUS C425 Chromebook that I am running Debian on via Breath. Unfortunately, internal sound does not work when installing Linux on Chromebooks with Kabylake chipsets (not supported by SOF - the sound open firmware project), but I've heard that sound should work via headphones plugged into USB, and I can live with this. I have found, however, that I cannot get sound to work even with my USB headphones. Is it possible to get working sound on USB plugged in headphones even when internal sound does not work?
