Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Lua High/Low-pass Filters
Hi all, I'm currently working on some control systems and need a high/low-pass filter in lua. I've found a radiofilter library on github but I dont want to use the whole thing, and am not able to reverse engineer the high/low-pass filter part (tried and failed :/ ) and am also not able to derive it from the wikipedia page.

Decode RDS data from IQ data file
You can do this using Luaradio. From the example here : https://github.com/vsergeev/luaradio/blob/master/examples/rtlsdr_rds.lua and here : https://luaradio.io/examples/rtlsdr-rds.html replace the line local source = radio.RtlSdrSource(frequency + tune_offset, 1102500) by by an (IQFileSource)[https://luaradio.io/docs/reference-manual.html#iqfilesource] : local source = radio.IQFileSource('/tmp/myfile.cf32, 'f32le', 1102500) Take care to the samplerate, or adapt the script to your samplerate. Tip: use luaradio -v to check samplerate coherence along the chain.

What is your best GNU Radio Companion FM receiver flowgraph file ? Strangely, no FM receiver on cgran.org !
Instead maybe have a look to this jewel : https://luaradio.io/ Easy to install (a couple of dependencies and a simple copy from git). Using scripting instead of GUI, and based and blocks. Latest version includes built-in applications for demodulation and decoding. Well documented with valuable examples, easy to understand. Linux only, all platforms. I'm a big fan.

FM stereo decoder? (Linux, command line)
Good news. Following informations on this link (https://github.com/vsergeev/luaradio/issues/64) , I was able to write a little GUI using luaradio embedded in love2d script, change/display frequency using keyboard shortcuts. That was just a quick test, really interesting ;) Have to find the files on my backup.

Listen to HD radio with a $30 RTL SDR dongle
I have a little hobby project where I record an FM radio music station using a SDR and then remove all the non-music portions for offline listening. I like the music selections the DJs pick, but I prefer not to listen to the DJ commentary and the advertisements.
I evaluated three methods of recording: analog capture from a standalone FM receiver, using this nrsc5 library to record the "HD" radio stream, and using an AirSpy SDR with this library: https://github.com/jj1bdx/airspy-fmradion
Recording the "HD" (what a misnomer) radio was nice in that there was no hiss or multipath effects, but in comparison to the other methods the digital compression artifacts became impossible to un-hear. It seems to top out at about 96 kbps
The airspy-fmradion library has some nice stuff in it to address multipath, resulting in the best audio quality of the three methods I tested.
I use https://github.com/ina-foss/inaSpeechSegmenter to identify which segments of the recordings are speech vs. music.

How to receive and record fm radio in stereo on the command line
Alternatively, use airspy-fmradion:
-
Ubuntu 20.04 SDR FM retransmit to a single user
You might want to look into using https://github.com/jj1bdx/airspy-fmradion instead of rtl_fm for stereo.

FM stereo decoder? (Linux, command line)
You can use https://github.com/windytan/wfm-tools together with rtl_fm to get stereo, though I prefer https://github.com/jj1bdx/airspy-fmradion
What are some alternatives?
gnuradio - GNU Radio – the Free and Open Software Radio Ecosystem
AIS-catcher - AIS receiver for RTL SDR dongles, Airspy R2, Airspy Mini, Airspy HF+, HackRF, SDRplay and SoapySDR
gnuradio-grc-examples - Simple GNU Radio Companion examples
openwebrx - Open source, multi-user SDR receiver software with a web interface
nelua-lang - Minimal, efficient, statically-typed and meta-programmable systems programming language heavily inspired by Lua, which compiles to C and native code.
sample-icecast-noaa - A sample docker setup for streaming NOAA radio from a USB RTL-SDR dongle to Icecast, so you can listen tp it as an m3u stream.
wfm-tools - Some DSP tools for FM demodulation
ezstream - [Mirror] A streaming source client for Icecast
luarocks - LuaRocks is the package manager for the Lua programming language.
gnss-sdr - GNSS-SDR, an open-source software-defined GNSS receiver
