localGPT VS poe_sidebar_robots_remover

I think local LLMs are great for tinkerers, and with quantization can run on most modern PCs. I am not comfortable sending over my personal data over to OpenAI/Anthropic, so I've been playing around with https://github.com/PromtEngineer/localGPT/, GPT4All, etc. which keep the data all local.

Sliding window chunking, RAG, etc. seem more sophisticated than the other document LLM tools, so I would love to try this out if you ever add the ability to run LLMs locally!

i am currently trying to use localGPT (https://github.com/PromtEngineer/localGPT) for a project and i encountered a problem.

I tinker a lot with electronics. I have put datasheets for components, documentation for development boards, documentation for software libraries, etc into a database with localGPT.

There are a bunch of other methods to improve quality and performance like tree-of-thought-llm, connecting a LLM to a database or have it review its own output.

Not Apple OS integrated but have you used Poe? Allows you to chat with ChatGPT, Gemini, etc all in one place.

Try bing gpt or this website https://poe.com/ Those are the ones I use to build my strategy in pine script based on YouTube videos. Hope it works for you, also some times you need a lot of patience.

Tried it on poe.com. It's very bad at painterly styles, so not my cup of tea unfortunately.

you could use a service like poe.com. they provide gpt-4 along with many other models.

Thank u OpenAI, we use poe.com and pay for premium but without GPT-4 it would make my life and his sooo much harder! I cried last night in appreciation i wish i could do more but i cant. So thank you, thank you so fucking much. I know r/ChatGPT isnt affiliated with OpenAI but im sure some members of OpenAI engineers browse here so i wanna make my mark! Idk how else to give them feedback! We even use the speech to text technique because its even easier for him and its really revolutionising learning for him.

While Poe from Quora is extempted from stripe restricted businesses, startups like GirlfriendGPT get bullied! The functionality of both AI chat engines is the same.

free combination of bing/perplexity/claude.ai would be suffient for too poe.com for 20 has much faster gpt4 and you can have simoultanous convos but people mention the quality is worse than chatgpt.
