Well known LN node to connect to?
lnbits.com or getalby.com allow you to use BlueWallet lightning wallet interface. They are custodial, so you could always use a different custodial lightning wallet or a non-custodial one instead.

Or you can run a Lightning node on top, like LND or clightning to make instant payments with low fees. Then you can setup LNbits (https://github.com/lnbits/lnbits) on top and do all sorts of nice things with Lightning.

Rebalancing Channels
Additionally I use rebalance-lnd to rebalance channels manually. BOS can also rebalance as well as perfectly balanced.

The Lightning Network is fast, but it kinda sucks.
Are you using channel rebalancing tools at all? Like Balance of Satoshis, or rebalance-lnd? I really like the latter.

There are some tools like this but it is very hard to automate rebalancing since each node market dynamics is different. And it changes constantly. You can automate but you have to constantly update the logic.
