How do/Can I make an automatic playlist based off criteria?
I've looked into this in the past and could not find a good solution. I use listrr.pro and plex-meta-manager to do this for movies, but there does not see to be a good source of this data for TV Shows (IMDB, TMDB, TVDB, etc.) to use those tools to pull from and create collections. The closest I could come is to use other lists people manually create on one of those sources and then use the tools to create the collection in Plex. You could look at trying to create collections based on dates, bu that would be hit or miss. You never know what week in Nov. a series aired their Thanksgiving episode. Might be worth jumping on Discord and asking the listrr.pro developer for some ideas.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!! Recent streaming services, prices and shows getting butchered, finally decided its time. Here's how a basic self-hosted 'Netflix' would look like. Fully automated once its setup. Using only a makeshift homelab server from second hand parts.

What are your top self hosted services that you are very satisfied with ?
You might want to look into Mylar3 and/or threetwo. I've only tried Mylar3 myself, and I believe it did download a comic or two, but based on some other comments in this thread, it sounds like it's hit or miss for reliability.
