Audio setup frustrations
For reference, I'm one of the people that tried to help. I don't use Manjaro any longer, but I have scripts for various Linux distros, so we did start from https://github.com/brendaningram/linux-audio-setup-scripts/blob/main/manjaro/install-audio-pipewire.sh

Enabling Realtime Priorities
I installed Linux Mint and then used the Bash script found at https://github.com/brendaningram/linux-audio-setup-scripts/blob/main/mint/uma/install-audio.sh and I accidentally did not select yes to enable Realtime Priorities when prompted during install of Cadence. I have tried uninstalling Cadence and reinstalling it but was not prompted again. My question is how can I go about enabling Realtime Priorities? Or what should I do to be able to?

Granular Synthesis Vocal Pad?
There is a jsfx granular sampler here https://github.com/JoepVanlier/JSFX named 'Amaranth' will de exactly what you are looking for. In fact coupled up with a few more of the effects from this repository you can get very creative with making vocal ambient drones etc. once your happy with what you have created, use freeze in Amaranth and then render your track, you can then manipulate with like someone else said Rrrreaaaa time stretching, then maybe even add effects directly onto your 'item' and then glue each time you make a change.
