The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Success porting VCV into aarch64 linux! (Usable on Android Devices)
dep/libsamplerate is a problem because Rack is using the 0.1.9 version, which is very old and might not build very well depending on your system. I downloaded the 0.2.1 version here, built it by cmake, and copied the builtlibsamplerate.a into dep/lib. Note that you should remove the corresponding command lines in dep/Makefile if you're using this method. This step should be skipped if you are using armv7 device.

Why does Homebrew say everything is up to date, but when I run brew upgrade, there is an outdated package?
There's libMuseSamplerCoreLib.dylib, which I believe was placed there by MuseScore. There's also librlottie.dylib and libsndfilelsr.dylib. I'm not sure what these are. An online search tells me the first one is related to rlottie by Samsung, "a platform independent standalone C++ library for rendering vector based animations and art in realtime," and the second one βis related to libsndfile, a C library for reading and writing files containing sampled audio data.β

Comparison of audio formats for games
If you intend to integrate also other audio formats, such as FLAC, MP3 or WAV, I recommend the use of libsndfile, which supports all of these formats with a uniform interface.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing libsamplerate and libsndfile you can also consider the following projects:
sse2neon - A translator from Intel SSE intrinsics to Arm/Aarch64 NEON implementation
