A driver-owned alternative to Uber and Lyft is on the verge of profitability
Unfortunately, seems like it hasn't been maintained for quite a while (https://github.com/ro31337/libretaxi/graphs/contributors), doesn't support credit/debit cards (cash only) and also doesn't seem to offer any safety features (any driver can sign up at any time without any sort of verification)

I'm a little shortsighted in these sorts of things, and am well prepared to be wrong, but I think a first obvious step is to create a robust incentivisation programme. An incentivisation project was made at ETH Berlin in 2019 by flexdapps, which was pretty prescient of them. Now on tornado you earn AP points and can convert them into TORN or something. That is a bit too much like supermarket loyalty points for my liking, so I would like to see the governance system putting the deposited ETH(and other tokens) to work in a protocol like a yearn vault to earn interest to pay out something a bit more tangible to LPs . i.e. USDC or something other than what I perceive to be supermarket loyalty stamps. (If this is already done, apologies for my elementary mistake; my assumption is the ETH just sits in the pool waiting to be withdrawn again).
