[A level Physics] This is my attempt at this question that I’m not confident on, is it correct?
1 project | reddit.com/r/PhysicsStudents | 13 Oct 2021
I recommend downloading https://qalculate.github.io, it's what I use for physics calculations and it makes these calculations very easy since it automatically converts units.
Works like a charm!

also libqalculate comes with a banger cli calculator that preserves actual value too

I'm a big fan of https://qalculate.github.io/. It has a nice GUI which can be used interchangeably with the CLI version.
It also has units, many built-in physical constants, currency conversion, matrices and probably tons of other stuff I don't know about.
gnome-system-monitor showing more RAM than I actually have

libqalculate?. It's my go-to for shell calculations and unit conversions. I actually learned about it because KDE uses it for calculations in krunner since...decades by now I assume. But it comes with this nice qalc shell frontend that pretty much accepts any math formula I throw at it. Only problem I have with it is even shown in the paste above...I usually start it with LC_ALL=C qalc to get "." decimal separators, not the german ",", makes copy and paste easier.
Calc.exe is now open source; there’s surprising depth in its ancient code (2019)

Check out Qalculate! for an application for a program that does what you specify and much more (though obviously not as much as WA).

Add check-spelling to a repository
13 projects | dev.to | 2 Dec 2021
Because the workflow is customizable, I'm playing with instant specific customizations such as this one for ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh. As ohmyzsh is built around aliases for zsh, this additional commit would automatically recognize aliases before the spell checker runs and add them to the dictionary. This means that if the alias is used in the documentation (and hopefully it is!), it'll be automatically accepted as a word, and when someone misspells an alias, that misspelling will stick out.

A modern, ergonomic Unix shell configuration with Fish

At some point, perhaps ~10 years ago, I was introduced to ZSH with the venerable Oh My ZSH framework. For me, this was a huge awakening because it taught me about how much shell improvements can impact your life. I gradually evolved my ZSH setup to use package managers like antigen and began to invest more in creature comforts.
