Should I Switch Linux Distributions? A Guide...
I recommend not using flakes as a beginner tbh. You really only need them if you are trying to use something that isn’t in the nixpkgs. Home-manager is fairly easy to use, just import it as a module and then use the settings on this site https://mipmip.github.io/home-manager-option-search/ If you need the module, it’s here https://github.com/PassiveLemon/lemonix/blob/master/.nix/modules/home-manager.nix Just import that nix file into your system config and you will be able to use the home-manager configurations. There’s examples of that in .nix/hosts/lemon/user.nix if you need.

Trouble with sxhkd (bspwm)
I highly recommend the home manager config for this. My sxhkd is in .nix/hosts/lemon-tree/config/sxhkd.nix in https://github.com/PassiveLemon/lemondots if you need a reference

`Nano`sphere
So, yeah, no .deb file, no curl/wget, no apt repository that they maintain. OK, cool 😎 no problem. I'll keep looking on Ubuntu side to see if Ubuntu has something 😁 you know. I could see that GNU Aspel's appendix does seem to have a recipe for how to make it myself if I wanted to go that route, as I pointed out earlier, however, since I have Ubuntu, I kept stomping the pavement and then it happened, I was able to find sudo apt -y install aspell aspell-en instead 😊🙌

How to rescue an encrypted LUKS partition that was partially modified by a Windows tool?
The Linux installation is/was Ubuntu with an encrypted LUKS partition and before applying a week-old backup I thought that there might be a change of rescuing some data.

Installing packages without networking (there's a reason)
I have corrupted and had to reinstall 4 times in my quest to get drivers for this device. Whenever I reinstall, I am missing basic packages like make, gcc, binutils, and dozens of libraries that they depend on. There are three options for a driver, either the rtl8812au driver on the ubuntu.com archives (supposed to work with 8821 models as well), the aircrack-ng driver, and the morronwr driver. The first two need dkms, which needs gcc and make, and the last just needs gcc and make regardless.
What are some alternatives?
