How do you visualize / drill down your financial data (hlegder)
I can add https://github.com/tgrosinger/ledger-obsidian to the list, which was very close to what I was looking for but in the end didn't fit my workflow

How to append text to Obsidian Ledger through shortcut?
It's that time of the year when I see if I could replace my existing Notion-setup completely with Obsidian. Am currently tackling expense tracking, and Obsidian has a plugin just for this: Obsidian Ledger. Now, problem is that adding entries to the ledger while on the go is tedious, as the quick entry does not work properly on the mobile. So I would like to build a shortcut to handle this. And I have one built, where it asks for the expense name, amount, expense account and asset account. It takes each of those entires, adds current date, and then it should append all of that to the end of the transactions.ledger-file in my Obsidian Vault. Sounds simple enough. But what would be the best way to to that last step?
- anyway to track personal finances in Obsidian?

anyone out there using the Ledger plugin?

My attempt at solving the same problem https://paisa.fyi. It builds on top of https://plaintextaccounting.org/ principles and is available as a CLI/Desktop App.

I came across this on hackernews: https://paisa.fyi/

Ghostfolio: Open-Source Wealth Management Software
Looks nice. Aside from the fact that the site is under heavy load (hug of death), I’ve been exploring such projects off late myself.
Also, I found https://github.com/ananthakumaran/paisa to be a really clean and well implemented project on similar lines. It already handles a bunch of asset classes familiar to the country I’m residing in which is tempting me to give it a shot sometime soon!

I am building a Web UI called paisa[1] to visualize personal finance data. We currently have very good command line tooling for this (ledger/hledger/beancount). A Web UI will make it even easier to see what's going on with your finances.
I am interested in knowing what are the common problems you face with command line approach that can be solved via a Web UI
