This is how LTT got hacked
You can add it to your dictionary so that if you type something like \pw autocorrect automatically suggests the symbol you assigned to it. I use it for LaTeX (downloaded it from here) so that for example \lambda gets changed to λ but you can add your own stuff here.

Anyone Know of a Good Math Typing App?
There is a latex/Unicode dictionary for GBoard (https://github.com/DenverCoder1/LaTeX-Gboard-Dictionary) this might help for simpler math in other apps. Overleaf and latex have already been named, you could also look for Markdown editors, you can use latex formulas in markdown docs.

Perhaps try algebra.js, ceres.js, nerdamer.js, or algebrite.js. I'll note that algebrite has an example of polynomial root finding on their front page.
