Pulling MikroTik into the Limelight Demystifying and Jailbreaking RouterS
> Would be nice to keep your complete config in git or the config management widget of your choice (often Puppet or Ansible).
I did this with my (mostly) OpenWrt-based network: https://github.com/kwesthaus/network-config.
I chose the NanoPi R4S instead of the R6S as my router since it is fully supported by vanilla OpenWrt [1] whereas the R6S is still in the works [2].

Route all traffic through a Tailscale network
I have the same question as yours. What I am currently doing is on the remote side, I have a node setup with Tailscale, and also a OpenVPN server setup on this node. On the local side, I have an OpenWRT router setup with tailscale (https://github.com/adyanth/openwrt-tailscale-enabler), and then on this OpenWRT router I have a OpenVPN client setup to connect to the server via the tailscale network.
