Python programme text not shown on Tumbleweed WSL
Anyway, I want to use a package called Krop (developer site and Github) on my WSL via gWSL or Vcxsrv. After following the instructions on the developer site, and installing python310-poppler-qt5 using zypper and pypdf2 using pip (user level), the programme is successfully started, but the text is not shown properly. After following the same procedure on another WSL2 (Ubuntu Bionic) everything works perfectly. The problem can be seen in these screenshots, where the left picture is using Ubuntu and the right one OpenSUSE.

Right tablet with Linux? Difference between gen 1 and 2 and other questions...
To crop margins, I recommend pdfCropMargins: https://github.com/abarker/pdfCropMargins This works great on Linux, and unlike a lot of other cropping software, (i) it uses visual analysis so it's reliable even on PDFs with wonky crop boxes, and (ii) it embeds metadata so that it's fully reversible, so you only need to keep one copy of a cropped file around and you can regenerate the original if you need it.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing krop and pdfCropMargins you can also consider the following projects:
pdftools - A collection of PDF command line tools and wrappers for Linux
dpt-rp1-py - Python script to manage a Sony DPT-RP1 without the Digital Paper App
pagelabels-py - Python library to manipulate PDF page labels
stapler - A small utility making use of the pypdf library to provide a (somewhat) lighter alternative to pdftk
Auto-Research - Generate custom detailed survey paper with topic clustered sections and proper citations, from just a single query in just under 30 mins !!
borb - borb is a library for reading, creating and manipulating PDF files in python.
FastPDF Service API (Python) - Python SDK for Fast PDF Service
