klipper VS klipper

There is _a lot_ wrong with Marlin. It is a complex codebase, full with ancient artefacts, litterred with preprocessor ifdefs every 2-3 lines of code, dynamic includes in the middle of CPP files, etc[1]. It's about as unreadable as C++ code gets--well, I guess it's not template metaprogramming.

Klipper by contrast is a breeze to read through[2].

I am very grateful for Marlin, for all of reprap, and everyone who has contributed to it. But saying there is nothing wrong with it is straight up misguided.

If you have (like me) problems getting the auto reconnect solution mentioned on klipper https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/issues/835 running.

Did you check the printer cfg examples folder? Looks like there are a few BTT octopus cfg in there.

Guys, I hope someone who has it could send me the printer.cfg of the Ender 3 V2 Neo, I found it here on github, but it seems that some things are out and don't work the right way. Thanks!

Hi, As the title suggests, has anyone got this working successfully? I'v tried using the firmwares from https://github.com/SteveGotthardt/klipper/releases

The only thing that is different is on the board version I have 1.0.2 were https://gist.github.com/SteveGotthardt/2ed249f197f5928eaf5c3d3877d55503 is version 1.0.3

Trying to use the firmware avilable HERE but neither the O1 or the C2 firmware are working.

Yes and no. There is already some information and maybe guide? about how to run Klipper on the kobra. Since the kobra has exactly same mcu with the kobra go you can use the same repo. I had to follow some of the directions from this build in order to find the right board under "make menuconfig"
