Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

The app youtubedr ---help information shows that it accepts reading from a yaml config file. But there isn't any sample. How should this be formatted?

If only video watching functionality is needed, I use https://github.com/kkdai/youtube (v2) for my Youtube <-> Kodi integration written in Golang. It does not require login to watch public videos. Probably there are similar libraries written in Python that can be used to code a minimalistic add-on.
