Is there something similar to remote containers in emacs?
Forgot to add, https://gitlab.com/tvaughan/kibit-runner This is setup using the above approach, and is an experimental playground of sorts. HEAD is not guaranteed to be stable. It’s currently setup to use podman, for example

There's the docker-tramp project but this didn't work right for me... not sure what the issue was. The wonderful emacs wiki has a page on Tramp and Docker with some example code. So, I took it and modified it to use toolbox:
