  • If you aren't familiar with toolbox it's a nice wrapper around Podman that makes working with ad-hoc containers super easy.

  • There's the docker-tramp project but this didn't work right for me... not sure what the issue was. The wonderful emacs wiki has a page on Tramp and Docker with some example code. So, I took it and modified it to use toolbox:
