What language do you recommend for getting into ESP8266?
The biggest struggle I had with Micropython is getting it flashed on the boards in the first place. I have a ton of these boards purchased over a few years from AliExpress, and I've found that each board sometimes has its own flakiness. Once I started using NodeMCU PyFlasher, that seemed to take care of most of the problems.
