Well you can use any other distro of your choice like Ubuntu, Pop_Os , Linux mint, get a feel for Linux and then you can virtualise Kali on these distros, In addition you could also weaponise your existing Debian based distro using a tool called katoolin3 basically install kali tools on a distro of your choice, but before adding that be warned your os might break while updating or so I’ve heard even I haven’t looked into it too much but since you want something of this sort as your main machine then it’s worth taking the time to look into it

try any dabian base distro and use katoolin for installing on those all the tools that you need to use https://github.com/LionSec/katoolin

I’m not sure if you just mistyped the link to the repo but it should read katoolin and not kalitoolin. Here ya go: https://github.com/LionSec/katoolin. I’m pretty sure you cannot just try to grab the tools using install kali-linux-all unless you are running Kali. That is a command meant to be run while using Kali and should not work with Parrot. Despite both being Linux distros based on Debian there are differences and some commands simply are not interchangeable. Just a quick piece of friendly advice for you. When you ask for help you really should outline what the exact issues you are running into, for example an error response, and everything you have tried so far that way the people trying to help have somewhere to start. Not trying to be harsh at all but saying you hit a brick wall or it’s not working isn’t very helpful. Here we go:

If you can't get Kali working, since the host OS is Pop! OS, which is based off of Ubuntu (which is in turn based off of Debian), there are many programs that automatically install all of the Kali Linux tools, so you wouldn't even need a virtual machine. See Katoolin.

Look kali is a joke, the only good part about it its the amount of tools it has, you can just install ubuntu and then install only the tools you need with https://github.com/LionSec/katoolin.

there was https://github.com/LionSec/katoolin which essentially automates it. Given there haven't been commits since 2019, not sure how well it works, but you can use it as a starting point perhaps.
