Code formatting tool for Jupyter Notebook and JupyterLab
I know bioinformaticians use Python heavily, especially in the Anaconda environment. I wrote a tool called jupyterblack that black-formats code cells in a Jupyter Notebook and/or JupyterLab file.

Niftiness of open source collaborations
I guess the takeaways are 1) check out jblack and its capabilities if you're interested and 2) engaging in open source collaboration is phenomenal and educational. I've been meaning to study CI using GitHub Actions for some time and now I have a place to look for references :)
