Textual Paint – MS Paint in your terminal
This is by the same person who made jspaint. https://github.com/1j01/jspaint Some of the other projects by the author are also very interesting https://github.com/1j01?tab=repositories&q=&type=&language=&...
There is this pipes screen saver for example https://1j01.github.io/pipes/

I offer no solutions.
This was unreasonable hard to make in "ms paint"

Have you tried one of the browser ones like https://jspaint.app/

Taking notes on kindle
I can confirm that the jspaint.app that you mentioned does not run on the Paperwhite browser. It tries to load an crashes rather quickly. The Kindle has what is sometimes described as an "experimental browser." It will run some JavaScript, but it seems that certain JavaScript syntax will not work. Also, to the extent that it does work, the browser is quite slow.

- Any good gaming mouse that is Linux compatible?

Why the hell do Gaming Hardware brands make drivers for Mac, but not for Linux?
So if a very skilled developer reverse engineer a driver for some brands (OpenRazer as an example), I feel better about it especially if it's open source.

Razor setup.exe GUI - steam deck

Razer mouse does not charge (on dock) when computer is locked but powered on and not suspended.
What a interesting device. As I searching I found mousepad has different device id than mouse itself. this driver may solve your problems. If problem continues could you please share system info with upload-system-info from terminal and sudo lspci -v

Dead by Daylight's Steam Deck Support is Official. Confirmed to Us by Behaviour Interactive.
Yeah I would take piper over any of that bloated peripheral software anyway, gets the job done. There's also other community projects like OpenRazer. For a keyboard I grabbed a System76 Launch, it's a bit pricey but it's super nice and fully customizable via an appimage.

Using the Razer Tartarus on the Steam Deck
Wouldn't it be easier to install Openrazer? https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer
