jitar VS good-first-issue

This is one of the reasons why we've created Jitar (https://jitar.dev). It moves all front/back communication from the code to the runtime, so integration is easy while maintaining end-to-end type-safety.

You could also take a look at Jitar (https://jitar.dev). It allows you to connect react to node.js by just importing the server functions from the client. Jitar connects both ends automatically. I do want to mention that I'm one of the creators.

Hello everyone! We've just released an example for integrating Jitar with Vue. Jitar is an open source distributed runtime for JavaScript and TypeScript. It automates all client-server communication and provides end-to-end type-safety out of the box. The example can be found in here.

Another source is mentor feedback, somebody who tells you he thinks you can do it, some projects seem more open to new contributors, search good first issue, if you will open an issue saying you are willing to commit to say 1-2h a week for a year i believe you will get help.

You can also use websites like up-for-grabs, goodfirstissue, or CodeTriage to find projects with open issues. Find one that looks easy or interesting to you and comment on it, asking if you can take a shot at it.
